Which factors in early life support gut health, and why are they important?

Dr. Carina Saunders, consultant pediatrician at Oslo University Hospital, holds a PhD on infant diet and the gut microbiome’s influence on allergic disease development. This talk will explore how early-life factors such as birth, breastfeeding, diet, and environment shape the gut microbiome in infancy, thereby influencing immune development and promoting long-term health.

Understanding Paediatric Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Dr. Ralf Heine will expand knowledge and understanding of Pediatric GERD. The typical symptoms and predictors of GERD in children, as well as overlapping symptoms that may indicate other diagnoses.
